Bernie & Sid in the Morning segue you into the weekend with a Friday morning program jam-packed with all the week’s top stories. Yesterday the Attorney General Merrick Garland sat on the House Floor and took questions from Senators on his siccing of the FBI on concerned parents at school board meetings. Garland barely had an answer for any of the pressing questions he fielded from Senators Chip Roy, Jim Jordan, and Mike Johnson, just to name a few. Anybody who watched the hearings could easily tell that the incompetence of the current administration does not end with the President, and that it runs deep throughout his entire staff. In other news, the guys reflect on what was a great “Back the Blue” celebration here at 77WABC yesterday, and Sid has come to the conclusion that Police Commissioner Dermot Shea is actually an avid listener of the program. Also, actor Alec Baldwin is living a nightmare today as a freak accident involving a prop gun on the set of his new movie has led to the death of a crew member and the serious injury of the film’s director. Baldwin will most certainly have to take the fall for the incident, as he was the one who fired the lethal shot. Nassau County Executive Laura Curran joins Bernie & Sid in today’s third hour, and of course be sure you do not miss Lidia Reports and The Peerless Boilers Beat Bernie Contest.
